Fixed Airport Transfer Pricing in SGD
Every REI airport transfer is quoted as a fixed, GST-inclusive fare in Singapore dollars before you book. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — regardless of traffic on the ECP, rain over the city, or how long immigration takes.
Executive sedan transfers between Changi Airport and central Singapore start from S$80. Larger vehicles for families and groups are priced by class, and hourly chauffeur disposal starts from S$75 per hour for itineraries with multiple stops.
Two transparent surcharges apply in specific cases: a midnight surcharge for pickups between 11:00pm and 7:00am, and a peak-date surcharge on Chinese New Year and National Day. Both are shown in full at the booking review step — never added afterwards. Child seats (S$35) and booster seats (S$15) can be added to any booking.

Changi Pickup Guide: Terminals 1–4 and Jewel
Changi Airport has four passenger terminals plus the Jewel lifestyle complex, and the correct meeting point differs at each. When you book with a flight number, your chauffeur tracks the actual landing time and positions accordingly — you will receive a WhatsApp message confirming the exact meeting point before you clear immigration.
Terminal 1 — your chauffeur waits at the arrival hall meeting point near Door 3, directly opposite the belt exits. T1 serves carriers including British Airways, Emirates, Lufthansa, and most budget arrivals from North Asia. From the arrival hall, the pickup driveway is under two minutes with a trolley.
Terminal 2 — the meeting point is the arrival hall near Door 1, convenient for Singapore Airlines regional arrivals, Air India, and SilkAir-legacy routes. T2's arrival hall is the quietest of the four, and pickup is straightforward at any hour.
Terminal 3 — the busiest terminal for premium arrivals. Your chauffeur waits at the arrival hall near Door 5, the standard meeting point for Singapore Airlines long-haul flights from London, Sydney, Tokyo, and San Francisco. Allow a few extra minutes at peak evening banks (9–11pm) when several SQ wide-bodies land in sequence.
Terminal 4 — a standalone terminal serving Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, AirAsia, and Vietnam Airlines among others. The meeting point is the arrival hall opposite the single belt exit. T4 has no direct Skytrain link to other terminals, so a private transfer saves the most time here — the shuttle-plus-taxi-queue alternative routinely adds 25 minutes.
Jewel — if you arrive early or want to see the Rain Vortex before leaving, your chauffeur can reposition to the Jewel coach stand at basement 2. Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust the meeting point in real time at no charge.
Private Chauffeur vs Grab vs Taxi vs MRT
Each option gets you from Changi to the city — the difference is certainty, comfort, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Grab is convenient for solo travellers with light luggage, but airport surge pricing routinely pushes a JustGrab to S$45–65 at peak arrival banks, the pickup point is a crowded ride-hail bay, and a delayed flight means re-booking from scratch. Taxis avoid surge but the queue at T3 after 10pm regularly exceeds 20 minutes, and a metered trip to Orchard lands between S$35 and S$55 with midnight surcharge — for a Toyota Prius, not a Mercedes.
The MRT from Changi costs around S$2 and is excellent value if you have one bag and no time pressure — but it requires a transfer at Tanah Merah, takes about an hour to town, and ends service before midnight.
A fixed-price chauffeur transfer is the only option where the vehicle, the price, and the meeting protocol are all guaranteed in advance — and the only one where a two-hour flight delay costs you nothing.
| REI Chauffeur | Grab | Taxi | MRT | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price certainty | Fixed, locked at booking | Surge S$45–65 | Metered S$35–55 + surcharges | ~S$2 |
| Pickup | Name board in arrival hall | Ride-hail bay | Taxi queue (20+ min at peak) | Walk to station |
| Flight delay | Auto-tracked, free | Re-book from scratch | Re-queue | No service after midnight |
| Luggage & child seats | Assisted + seats available | Depends on car | Depends on car | Self-carry |
Where Are You Headed? Transfer Times by District
We cover every district in Singapore with dedicated route guides — distance, realistic transfer times by time of day, and local drop-off knowledge for each area. Marina Bay and the CBD are typically 20–35 minutes via the ECP and MCE; Orchard Road runs 30–45 minutes via the CTE; Sentosa's resorts and Woodlands' industrial parks sit at the longer end at 35–65 minutes. Select your destination below for the full local guide.
Hotel Transfers: Direct to Your Lobby
Most of our airport arrivals end at a hotel driveway. Our chauffeurs know the correct entrances and drop-off protocols for Singapore's flagship properties — including which Marina Bay Sands tower your room is in, the porte-cochère arrangements at Raffles, and the ECP-to-CTE routing that gets you to the Shangri-La fastest after an evening landing. Dedicated transfer guides for over twenty hotels are linked below.
The Fleet: From S-Class to 45-Seat Coach
Vehicle choice determines both comfort and luggage capacity. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class and all-electric EQS are the flagship choice for executives and VIP arrivals — up to three passengers with three large cases. The Mercedes E-Class covers most business arrivals at the best value. For families and groups, the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire carry six with four large cases in captain's-chair comfort, and the Mercedes V-Class takes seven. Larger groups move in the 13-seat Toyota HiAce or 23- and 45-seat coaches with full luggage holds.
Child seats (S$35) and booster seats (S$15) are available on every vehicle class and are installed before your chauffeur departs for the airport — required by Singapore law for passengers under 1.35m travelling in private hire vehicles.
How Booking Works
Booking takes under a minute: choose your service and vehicle, enter pickup details with your flight number, and pay securely by card, PayNow, or GrabPay. You receive instant confirmation by email, and your chauffeur's details arrive by WhatsApp before pickup.
Flight delayed? Nothing to do. We track every inbound flight in real time and adjust the pickup automatically at no extra charge — your chauffeur is at the meeting point when you actually land, not when you were scheduled to. For departures, we recommend leaving the city 3 hours before long-haul flights and monitor traffic on the day, messaging you if conditions on the ECP or PIE suggest leaving earlier.
Licensed, Insured, and Accountable
REI Rental Pte Ltd is an ACRA-registered Singapore company operating under the Land Transport Authority's Private Hire Car framework. Every chauffeur holds an LTA vocational licence, every vehicle carries commercial insurance covering all passengers, and every trip is logged against a confirmed booking with a named driver. You are never matched to an anonymous driver by an algorithm — you receive your chauffeur's name, photo, and direct contact before pickup, and our operations team on WhatsApp (+65 8612 2122) is staffed around the clock.
Corporate and Arrival-to-Meeting Transfers
For business travellers, an airport transfer is the first meeting of the trip. We run scheduled arrival programmes for corporate clients: chauffeurs briefed on guest names and itineraries, invoicing consolidated monthly, and direct routing to Changi Business Park (10 minutes from the airport), the CBD, or your office tower. Executive assistants can book and amend transfers on WhatsApp on behalf of travelling principals — no app download required.
Airport Transfer FAQs
How much does a private airport transfer cost in Singapore?
Fixed fares start from S$80 for an executive sedan (Mercedes E-Class) between Changi Airport and central Singapore, inclusive of 9% GST. Premium MPVs and the S-Class are priced by vehicle class, shown upfront at booking. There is no surge pricing and no metered uncertainty — the quoted fare is final.
Where does my driver meet me at Changi Airport?
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrival hall with a name board — near Door 3 at Terminal 1, Door 1 at Terminal 2, Door 5 at Terminal 3, and opposite the belt exit at Terminal 4. The exact meeting point is confirmed by WhatsApp before you clear immigration.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing changes for you. We track all inbound flights in real time and adjust the pickup automatically at no extra charge. Your chauffeur is positioned for the actual landing time, not the scheduled one. Just make sure your flight number is on the booking.
Is the meet-and-greet service included in the price?
Yes. Arrival-hall meet and greet with a name board, luggage assistance, and escort to the vehicle are standard on every airport arrival booking — not a paid add-on.
Is a chauffeur transfer better than Grab from Changi Airport?
For certainty and comfort, yes. Grab airport pickups are subject to surge pricing (often S$45–65 at peak arrival times), a crowded ride-hail bay, and re-booking if your flight is delayed. A chauffeur transfer fixes the price in advance, meets you inside the arrival hall, and tracks your flight automatically. For a solo traveller with one small bag on a tight budget, Grab or the MRT can still make sense.
How long is the transfer from Changi Airport to the city centre?
Marina Bay and the CBD are typically 20–35 minutes via the ECP and MCE. Orchard Road takes 30–45 minutes. Off-peak transfers can be faster; weekday rush hours (8–9:30am, 6–7:30pm) sit at the upper end. Your chauffeur routes around congestion in real time.
Do you provide child seats and booster seats?
Yes — child seats are S$35 and booster seats S$15 per booking, installed before your chauffeur departs. Singapore law requires appropriate child restraints for passengers under 1.35m in private hire vehicles, so please add them at booking rather than risk refusal at pickup.
Is there a surcharge for late-night or early-morning pickups?
A transparent midnight surcharge applies to pickups between 11:00pm and 7:00am, shown in full at the booking review step before payment. The service itself runs 24/7 — red-eye arrivals are met exactly the same way as daytime flights.
Which vehicle should I choose for a family of five with luggage?
The Toyota Alphard or Vellfire — six passengers and four large cases with captain's-chair seating. For five passengers with substantial luggage (e.g. golf bags or relocation cases), step up to the Mercedes V-Class or the 13-seat HiAce for guaranteed boot space.
Can I book a transfer from Terminal 4? It seems far from everything.
Yes, and T4 is where a private transfer saves the most time. T4 has no Skytrain link to the other terminals — the public alternative is a shuttle bus plus taxi queue that routinely adds 25 minutes. Your chauffeur meets you inside the T4 arrival hall directly.
How early should I book my airport transfer?
Same-day bookings are usually possible, but we recommend booking 24–48 hours ahead to guarantee your preferred vehicle class — especially the S-Class and Alphard, which sell out first during F1 week (October), year-end holidays, and major conference periods.
Do your chauffeurs speak Mandarin?
Yes — most of our chauffeurs are bilingual in English and Mandarin, and our booking team supports both languages on WhatsApp. If you need a Mandarin-speaking chauffeur specifically, note it in the booking and we will assign accordingly.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, PayNow, and GrabPay through our secure Stripe checkout. Corporate clients can arrange consolidated monthly invoicing. Payment is completed at booking, so there is nothing to settle in the vehicle.
What is your cancellation policy for airport transfers?
Cancellations more than 24 hours before pickup receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, a cancellation fee applies; no-shows are charged in full. Flight delays never count against you — we adjust automatically.
Can you handle group arrivals or full conference delegations?
Yes. We coordinate multi-vehicle arrivals — sedans for principals, MPVs for teams, and 23- or 45-seat coaches for delegations — under a single booking with one operations contact. MICE and corporate event transport is a core service.
How far in advance should I leave for my departure flight?
For long-haul departures we recommend leaving the city 3 hours before flight time; for regional flights, 2.5 hours is comfortable. We monitor traffic on the day and will message you if ECP or PIE conditions suggest an earlier start.
Are your drivers and vehicles licensed in Singapore?
Yes. REI Rental Pte Ltd is ACRA-registered and operates under the LTA's Private Hire Car framework. Every chauffeur holds an LTA vocational licence and every vehicle carries commercial passenger insurance.
Can I book a round trip — arrival and departure together?
Yes. Book the arrival and departure as separate legs with both flight numbers, or message us on WhatsApp (+65 8612 2122) and our team will set up the round trip for you in one conversation. Round trips may qualify for a combined rate.
